The Guitar shaped Hard Rock Hotel
Take a look at Miami’s Hard Rock Hotel Complex
Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino in Florida is located around 15 minutes from Fort Lauderdale’s famous beaches, while just 30 minutes from Miami. Three hotels comprised of over 1,000 rooms make up the large complex, including the Hard Rock Hotel, Guitar Hotel and Oasis Tower. Described as South Florida’s premier entertainment destination, the complex provides it’s guests with everything they could need for the ultimate Hard Rock experience, including award-winning restaurants, bars, a large casino, a concert arena, a lagoon-style pool, beach club, and a Hard Rock spa.. the list goes on.
The Guitar Hotel, the most talked about feature of the complex, was designed to resemble back-to-back guitars, standing 450ft tall with 34 floors. This impressive build has become a striking feature amongst the South Florida skyline, with daily orchestrated outdoor music and light shows, with six high-powered beams of light projected over 20,000ft into the sky to replicate the neck of the guitar.
Inside the Hotels..
The Hard Rock Hotel holds 465 luxury rooms, with the choice of a Deluxe Queen, Deluxe King or Luxury King Suite. Fit with signature furnishings and their ‘Sleep Like a Rock’ bedding, guests can expect maximum comfort, with incredible bedroom views – as well as the typical touches of classic artwork and musical accents throughout. The Guitar Hotel features 638 rooms, with a larger variation in room size and features, from the Deluxe Queen up to the Platinum Suite. The latter offers a private dining area, digitally-enhanced electronics, sophisticated décor and stone finishes for that super opulent experience (in addition to panoramic views of South Florida, and the rest of the resort).
The Oasis Tower, the smaller of the three hotels, holds 168 luxury rooms with some unique swim-up suites overlooking the magnificent lagoon and private pool area. You can choose from the Deluxe King (ideal for couples) or the Deluxe Queen, which has two double beds (ideal for a group of 4). You can expect all the important electronic amenities, as well as the finer things including a rain shower and freestanding bath.
The Rock Spa & Pool Facilities..
The new Spa at the Hard Rock Hotel offers total tranquility for its guests, perfect for an afternoon of relaxation and rejuvenation. The spa offers a full-service retreat, including a spa menu with a range of beauty and wellness treatments in addition to the high-tech fitness centre and salon. If your looking to wow your other half, you can even opt for a private spa suite, and enjoy a whole host of couple related therapies, as well as all the typical treatments.
The pool areas at the resort are just as impressive, with a huge 4.5-acre lagoon-style heated pool (one of many), where guests can even enjoy activities such as paddle-boarding and kayaking. Whether you opt to lounge at one of the private cabanas (the Bora Bora cabanas being the most luxurious) or choose to sip cocktails poolside by the Pool Bar & Grill, you can expect to enjoy long days of sun-soaked bliss!
Seminole Hard Rock Hotel’s nightlife facilities are likely to be a big pull for visitors, with the 5,500 seat Hard Rock Live concert arena hosting huge acts including Elton John. In addition, the hotel is also home to the Hard Rock Casino, hosting more than 100 table games, 2,000 slots and a poker room. If you looking for a special evening meal you’ll be spoilt for choice, with Council Oak Steaks & Seafood (the signature steakhouse), and Kuro (a new-style Japanese hotspot). If your looking for something a little more casual you can head to Blue Plate, the hotel’s 24hr diner-inspired restaurant, Constant Grind, a gourmet coffee shop, and of course the Hard Rock Cafe for an evening of rock ‘n’ roll. This Hard Rock Hotel giant seems to be THE place to stay, dine and play!
