Brunch is always a good idea and in Dubai we can’t get enough! We visited KOYO to experience their new lively ‘Kabuki’ Saturday brunch that has everybody talking. Instagramable interiors and delectable Japanese dishes. This multi-sensory experience sets it apart from all the rest.

This trendy Japanese inspired restaurant hidden in the heart of Dubai Marina has everybody talking, brining unique and vibrant energy from an evening spent partying in Tokyo here to Dubai, this is the ultimate ‘dinner and a show’ experience. As you walk through the entrance into the reception you are greeted with a faux tattoo parlour, low lighting and red neon signs – this is just a tease of what’s to come as you walk through to the bar and restaurant.

A Japanese wonderland..
It’s all extremely atmospheric and dramatic inside, with sprawling Japanese murals on the walls and beautiful shades of red cherry blossoms hanging from the ceiling. The venue is spilt up into two sections, two dedicated bar areas, and a traditional Japanese dining area. The downstairs part of the venue has larger seating areas with booths, this is where you want to be if you’re coming in a large group as there’s space for dancing, you’ll have front row seats for the incredible show!

This really is the most exciting brunch to hit Dubai. There is never a dull moment, between amazing performances, and the incredible DJ playing popular hits and new sounds (the best brunch music we’ve heard in a long time) KOYO really knows how to get the party started. WOW, the performers do not disappoint, synchronized dances, acrobatics and incredible vocals throughout this multi-sensory experience is what makes KOYO stand out from the rest. The choreography is next level, and all of the costumes are exquisite. Each performance is so different, keeping you on your toes!
Delectable Japanese dishes..
KOYO is a communal dining concept, offering guests the opportunity to try various Japanese dishes and share. The brunch menu has an incredible wide range from Maki and sushi (which is cooked on a live cooking station) to sea bass and tenderloin steak. You have unlimited drinks throughout the brunch which include wine, beer, spirits and 3 exclusive cocktails (they do a great pornstar martini spin!). This has become the place to celebrate big birthdays and we can see why! All of the staff come out and light up the venue with sparklers, birthday cakes and shots for all the birthday girls and guys at the same time, which creates an incredible atmosphere, making that moment extra special.
We really were amazed by how different this experience was to any other brunch in Dubai. This is the perfect brunch to celebrate a Birthday with a group of friends, or even the perfect date day out. Book in advance to avoid missing out, this venue is heating up! Available every Saturday 1pm – 4pm & 8pm – 11pm.
