Platinum Jubilee: The Queen’s Accession

This year marks the Queens Platinum Jubilee, and to honour the occasion, the Royal Collection have announced three displays across the Royal Residences to celebrate her reign and the fashion that tells the story. From priceless tiaras to the Coronation Dress, see all the pieces worn and loved by her Majesty through the years, and at history-making moments.

Fashioning Masculinities: The Art of Menswear

A wide-ranging exhibition by the V&A, exploring how fashion designers and artists have defined masculinity across the ages. The show features 100 looks, both historic and contemporary, with items from Jean-Paul Gaultier, Tom Ford for Gucci, and Dolce & Gabbana, among others. The gallery describe the exhibitions importance “at a moment of unprecedented creativity in men’s fashion and reflection on gender”.
Africa Fashion


London’s V&A will also be bringing the ‘Africa Fashion’ exhibit in the summer of 2022, celebrating the “irresistible creativity, ingenuity and unstoppable global impact of contemporary Africans fashions”. The large exhibition will celebrate the innovation of Africa’s vibrant fashion scene, as well as explore how music and the visual arts form a key part of Africa’s cultural renaissance.
