3 Best Family Hotels in Dubai

,

by Inside Lifestyle Team

It’s fair to say the success of a family holiday is heavily dependant on the choice of Hotel. We’ve selected the best in Dubai for those child-friendly trips.

Atlantis, Palm Jumeirah

Atlantis family hotel

We had to start with Atlantis. This giant resort is probably the ultimate choice for a family holiday, given that it resembles something straight out of Disney. Located at the end of Palm Jumeirah in the centre of the crescent, this iconic landmark stands tall holding over 1,500 rooms, 29 bars and restaurants, a full size aquarium, a bowling alley and an in-house medical centre. The facilities list goes on, with a private beach, the worlds largest Waterpark, 3 outdoor pools and a water sports hub all located within the resort – Atlantis takes the beach holiday to a whole other level.

If your looking to perfectly balance your time between fun with the kids alongside some relaxing you-time, you can certainly rely on Atlantis to provide both. With 2 kids clubs (The Kids Club for 4-12years and the Zone for Teenagers for 13-17years) you can enjoy peaceful days in the sun while they get stuck into a long list of activities from painting and dance to exploring the fish hospital, or enjoy a romantic dinner with the help of the babysitting service. You’ll be able to make memories to last a lifetime with the opportunity to swim with dolphins and enjoy fun filled days at the water park (free of charge). With a range of family room options and extensive amenities you can rest assured that Atlantis will full-fill those family holiday dreams!

Jumeirah Mina A’Salam, Jumeirah Beach

Jumeirah family hotel

Jumeirah Mina A’Salam is one of four hotels set in the complex of Jumeriah Madinat, just across from the Burj Al Arab. This stunning beachfront location offers beach views unlike anywhere else, with turquoise waters and white sand. The Madinat Jumeirah complex is laced with Venetian-style waterways, in addition to more than 40 restaurants and bars, pools, fitness centres, kid’s clubs and tennis courts spread across the four hotels (all of which are accessible as guests of the hotel). Take a ride on the waters, or head to the Souk Madinat and enjoy a traditional Souk experience where you can buy souvenirs. The Souk also houses the TODA (Theatre of Digital Art), often showcasing immersive experiences. The complimentary Sinbad’s Kids Club is perfect for keeping the little ones entertained, with activities such as face painting and games, while the in-house restaurants cater to all younger guests with tailored menus.

The 292 rooms are traditional in style, but include all the necessary amenities for a comfortable stay, with the option to include cots and interconnecting rooms. If your looking to enjoy active activities as a family, you wont be disappointed, with free, unlimited access to the Wild Wadi Waterpark next door, or opt to venture out of the hotel and head down to the Mall of Emirates (just a 10 minute drive), where you can spend the day at the huge indoor ski slope. Everything else is super close by, with the Palm Jumeirah, and Dubai Marina just 10 minutes away, and the airport around 30 minutes. A great aspect of Jumeirah Mina A’Salam is its ability to not seem like a place that caters to young families (it’s a pretty luxurious, calming environment) but it absolutely does.
